Settings
Settings is where you customize everything about your board --- what it shows, how it looks, how it sounds, and how the screen behaves.
Opening Settings¶
There are two ways to open Settings:
- Tap the gear icon in the bottom-right corner of the board. By default the gear stays hidden until you touch the board, then fades in --- see Settings Button visibility.
- Touch and hold anywhere on the board background.
Tip
The touch-and-hold gesture always opens Settings, even when the gear is set to Never.
- Press Play/Pause on the Siri Remote --- opens Settings in every mode.
- Press the center button (Select) anywhere on the board --- also opens Settings.
Settings categories¶

iCloud Sync¶
All settings sync automatically between your iPad and Apple TV via iCloud. Change a setting on one device and it appears on the other within moments.
Note
iCloud Sync requires that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account and have iCloud Drive enabled for Arrivals.
